Suds in the City Gala – April 30, 2026
Parkview Mirro Center

Suds in the City is The League’s annual gala.  Join us for a fun evening fueled by local beer, wine, and spirits.  Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about The League’s mission, services, and programs while sampling some of the area’s best wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

This is a formal event (Business Casual – Black Tie Optional), held at the lovely Parkview Mirro Center.  Along with the sampling areas, we will have specially created hors d’oeuvres from the talented culinary team at Parkview Mirro Center.

We will have an amazing silent auction with online bidding. With items like jewelry, excursions, dining, and experiential adventures, there is something for everyone. Bidding will be open online the week of April 23, 2026.

We have various levels of sponsorship opportunities, as well as individual ticket and table options. We hope you can join us for this event.

If you cannot attend, you can still bid on the silent auction items or donate to The League through the silent auction application.

Race 4 Independence – July 25, 2026
Purdue Fort Wayne Campus

This inclusive event invites runners, walkers, wheelchair users, human guides, and supporters of all abilities to come together in movement and advocacy. We will have a 5K run/walk event and a 2.5K walk to raise awareness and funds to support the League’s mission: to provide and promote opportunities to allow people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.  Our mission is to help people with disabilities remain independent or create their own independence.

The League was established in 1950 and has proudly served the community for over 75 years.

There are over 100,000 people with disabilities in Fort Wayne and another 22,000 in the surrounding counties. As the need for services and programs grows, The League has stepped up to the challenge.  We have 14 programs and services that serve over 3,000 people with disabilities in the 11 counties in Northeast Indiana.  We could not do what we do without the support of our community.  Thank you for joining us to raise awareness and support for people with disabilities.

Sign up today to be a runner, sponsor, or supporter.  Become an individual fundraiser or create a team of fundraisers to make a bigger impact.

Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
