Breaking Down Barriers: Wellness without Barriers

Breaking Down Barriers: Wellness Without Barriers
Join DeafLink for an open and welcoming conversation focused on wellness, trauma, and how these experiences shape our lives. This session will introduce the concept of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), explore different types of abuse, and highlight warning signs that may appear in everyday interactions.
We will also discuss trauma experiences that can be unique within the Deaf community, including communication barriers, cultural considerations, and access to support. Participants are invited to learn, reflect, ask questions, and connect in a safe, supportive environment designed to empower and inform.
