The League is participating in the United Way of Allen County’s 6th Annual Food Drive, collecting non-perishable food items for the Community Harvest, Miss Virginia’s Pantry, and The Associated Churches’ Food Banks. If you would like to donate items, please drop them off at our office at 5821 S. Anthony Mon-Thu  8 AM – 5 PM or Fri 8 AM to 3 PM until March 3rd.  No glass containers or homemade items please.

We provide help with household chores such as trash removal, meal planning and preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and assistance with mail.

Attendant Care

We assist with personal care, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, skin care, medication and appointment assistance.

Respite Care & Companion Services

Our staff can provide relief and/or assistance for the caregiver in the comfort of your own home. We can provide companionship and emotional support, helping individuals reduce feelings of loneliness, isolation, and depression.

How to get started

1.  Evaluation

Once you contact us, our Home Care staff conducts a preliminary evaluation of your potential eligibility.

2.  In-person meeting

A face-to-face meeting is held, where we gather additional information as well as listen to your goals.

3.  Service Plan

If you’re eligible, our dedicated staff will create a Consumer Service Plan with a selected provider.

4.  Services Begin

Once the plan is received, the Care+ staff assigns a worker, creates a schedule, and sets a start date for the services.
